Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is hiring a Medical Chart Prep Tech to join our Oncology Clinic in Bolivar, Missouri — someone who leads with skill, compassion, and a drive to positively impact every patient and family we serve.

What Your Day Looks Like:

The Medical Chart Prep Tech is responsible for reviewing, organizing, and preparing patient medical records before scheduled appointments. This position ensures that healthcare providers have accurate, complete, and up-to-date patient information available to support efficient workflows and quality patient care. As a Medical Chart Prep Tech, you will be: Reviewing patient charts and medical records prior to scheduled appointments. Reviewing medical histories, diagnoses, medications, allergies, and other relevant clinical information. Identifying missing, outdated, or inconsistent information and following appropriate procedures to obtain or correct it. Organizing and compiling medical records, test results, referrals, and other required documentation. Ensuring records are complete and available to providers before patient visits. Maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance when handling protected health information.

Qualifications:

Education:

High School Diploma (preferred).

Experience:

Previous experience in Medical Terminology and charting.

Skills:

Good Communication, Patience, Attention to detail, flexibility, Intrapersonal Skills.

Licensure/Certification:

BLS for Healthcare Provider CPR (we assist with obtaining this) within 6 months of employment.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for 90% of the shift and sit for the remaining 10% of shift. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
