21 extra for working weekends Position Summary The medical language specialist interprets, and transcribes or edits dictation by providers and other health care professionals in order to document patient care and facilitate delivery of health care services. Position Qualifications Experience 1 year of transcription experience is required Computerized word processing proficiency with the ability to type quicky and accurately is required Demonstration good grammar and spelling is required Successful completion of medical transcription course, externship, internship/apprenticeship with knowledge of medical terminology is preferred

Certification/Licensure RHDS:

Registered Healthcare Documentation Specialist (AHDI) is preferred
