The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in clinical dental procedures and front office duties, demonstrating flexibility to support various areas of the practice as needed. The successful candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to fostering a welcoming environment for patients and staff alike. Duties Assist with chairside procedures across general dentistry ensuring patient comfort and safety. Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently using patient management software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing dental instruments according to infection prevention management protocols and aseptic techniques. Take and develop dental x-rays while adhering to dental sterilization procedures and radiation safety standards. Record vital signs, medical history, and other relevant medical documentation accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems while maintaining strict clinical confidentiality policies. Support front desk operations by scheduling appointments, replying to emails, collecting payments, and managing patient inquiries with professionalism. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and healthcare infection prevention standards at all times. Assist in inventory control of dental supplies and equipment, dental instruments, and other clinical tools. Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment that promotes infection control and safety for patients and staff. Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to optimize workflow efficiency during procedures involving dental assisting techniques such as dental terminology and dental equipment handling. Experience At least 2 years experience working in a dental clinic setting with exposure to general dentistry is highly preferred. Knowledge of dental sterilization procedures, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques required for maintaining clinical hygiene standards. .Must posses x-ray license and coronal polishing license. Excellent communication skills combined with a positive attitude to deliver outstanding patient care while efficiently managing front office responsibilities.
