Job Description We are looking for a personable and energetic medical front desk receptionist to join our TEAM. They can keep our office running smoothly by performing various administrative and clerical tasks. An ideal candidate for this position has experience working in a medical office, a friendly and professional demeanor, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously. This role may require working in shifts, so flexibility is essential. We are a busy practice - Punctuality and good attendance are a must. Ultimately, a receptionist's duties and responsibilities are to ensure the front desk welcomes patients positively and executes all administrative tasks to the highest quality standards. You must be willing to work at both of our locations in Pueblo, CO, and Pueblo West, CO. Dependable transportation is a must. Responsibilities (including and not limited to) Welcome patients and check them in for their appointments. Collect insurance information and payments. Answer calls from callers. Schedule appointments for patients with podiatrists. Track appointment times. Provide correct information to the medical assistants and doctors. Answer questions and provide information about podiatry services. Scan documents into patient charts. Fax referrals, provider orders, and medical records requests. Other duties as assigned. Skills Excellent time management, multitasking, and prioritization skills. Social perceptiveness and service-oriented. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and planning skills. Schedule Full-time Monday to Friday 8-hour shift with some extended business hours Benefits Paid time off 401(k) matching Health insurance Aflac Tuition reimbursement Position Requirements High school diploma or GED required.
