In this vital role, you'll be the friendly face and efficient organizer that ensures smooth daily operations. From managing patient appointments to handling insurance verifications, your proactive approach will help create a welcoming environment for patients and support the clinical team in delivering exceptional care! Duties Greet patients warmly, manage check-in and check-out processes with professionalism and efficiency Schedule appointments using dental practice management software such as Curve, ensuring optimal patient flow Verify insurance coverage, process claims, and handle billing systems Maintain accurate dental records in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality policies Answer multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, providing clear communication and appointment confirmations Assist with insurance verification, pre-authorizations, and documentation review to streamline patient care plans Experience Prior experience working in a dental office or healthcare setting with strong knowledge of dental terminology and clinical confidentiality policies Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Curve is a plus but not required. Demonstrated ability in dental billing, insurance verification, and timely claim submission with follow up is must Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with multi-line phone systems and 10-key typing required Strong organizational skills with clerical experience in filing, documentation review, and office management tasks Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on patient service, phone communication, and the ability to maintain your calm white multi tasking is must.
