Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Medical Front Desk Receptionist to join our healthcare team! Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression and smooth check-in process Manage patient scheduling using electronic health record (EHR) systems such EMA (ModMed) Verify patient insurance coverage and assist with health insurance inquiries, including Medicare and Medicaid processes Collect and review medical documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with HIPAA confidentiality policies Handle phone communications professionally, scheduling appointments, answering inquiries, and directing calls appropriately Maintain accurate medical records and ensure proper documentation review in accordance with clinical confidentiality policies Support billing processes by processing medical collections and coding Requirements Proven experience in a medical office environment or healthcare setting with front desk or administrative responsibilities Strong knowledge of Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems such as EMA (ModMed) Familiarity with medical billing, coding (CPT, ICD), and insurance procedures including Medicare and Medicaid guidelines Excellent customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and effective communication abilities Ability to perform clerical tasks such as typing (including 10-key typing), data entry, and document management accurately Bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively Knowledge of medical terminology, health information management practices, and clinical confidentiality policies Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and computer skills necessary for efficient office management Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review and medical records management Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism Join our team today to be part of an energetic environment dedicated to providing outstanding healthcare support! Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
