Job Description

Job summary Growing, modern, energetic dental practice is seeking friendly Dental Front Desk Coordinator. As the first point of contact for our patients, this role is vital in creating a welcoming and positive patient experience from the moment they walk through the door or call our office. This role is more than just administration—it's about building relationships, demonstrating empathy, and ensuring seamless coordination between patients and our clinical team. The ideal candidate is a proactive, tech-savvy multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to upholding our modern, patient-first culture. Key responsibilities Patient greeting and communication: warmly welcome patients and visitors, manage patient check-in and check-out, and maintain a calm and professional atmosphere in the reception and waiting areas.
Appointment management:
schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments using our dental software. Strategically manage the schedule to maximize efficiency and accommodate emergency visits.
Patient records:
maintain meticulous electronic and paper patient records, ensuring all personal, medical, and insurance information is up-to-date and compliant with HIPAA regulations.
Billing and insurance:
accurately process payments, verify insurance coverage and eligibility, and serve as a resource for patient questions regarding billing and financial options.
Administrative duties:
handle incoming calls, faxes, and emails. Coordinate specialist referrals and manage office correspondence.
Office operations:
monitor and manage the inventory of office supplies, ensuring the front office is organized and prepared for the day's tasks.
Team collaboration:
coordinate with dental assistants, hygienists, and dentists to maintain an efficient patient flow and ensure clear communication between the front and back office. Qualifications Prior experience at a dental practice is required, bilingual(Spanish) is a plus along with Eaglesoft experience. Knowledge of dental terminology, billing, and insurance procedures is also desirable. Essential skills and attributes Important skills and attributes include strong communication and organizational skills, a patient-focused attitude, and the ability to multitask and collaborate effectively.
