Key Responsibilities Greet and check in patients warmly, ensuring a positive first impression Schedule and manage appointments using EMR systems (e.g., eClinicalWorks) Verify insurance eligibility and assist with billing and collections Answer and manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism and efficiency Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation Assist with patient intake, data entry, and updating health information Support clinical staff with care coordination and follow-up scheduling Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards Qualifications Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Meditech, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, Dentrix, Eaglesoft) Knowledge of medical coding (CPT, ICD-9/10) is a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills Strong understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail Bilingual skills are a plus Prior clinic, hospital, or dental office experience highly preferred Why Join Us?
