Your responsibilities will include:
Warmly greeting patients and providing an exceptional front-office experience Communicating effectively with both English- and Spanish-speaking patients Answering incoming calls, emails, and patient messages in a timely and professional manner Scheduling, confirming, and managing patient appointments Checking patients in and out Collecting patient balances, coinsurance, copays, and deposits Reviewing patient accounts and helping explain financial responsibilities Assisting patients with financial options when appropriate Maintaining accurate patient information and documentation Understanding dental insurance benefits, waiting periods, frequencies, and limitations Following up with patients regarding appointments, treatment needs, insurance information, prior approvals, and other necessary documentation Communicating closely with doctors, dental assistants, hygienists, and the business team Helping maintain a productive and organized patient schedule Ensuring the accuracy and confidentiality of patient records Providing WOW service to every patient, every time What We're Looking For Our ideal candidate is someone who loves working with people, communicates confidently, and knows how to stay positive and organized—even on a busy day. Qualifications Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred Dental front-office/reception experience preferred At least 1 year of dental experience is preferred; however, we are willing to train the right bilingual candidate Experience with dental practice-management software is a plus Strong computer and typing skills Comfortable using programs such as Google Workspace, Google Sheets, or Microsoft Excel Understanding of dental insurance benefits, waiting periods, frequencies, and limitations Comfortable discussing patient accounts and financial responsibilities Strong basic math skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to problem-solve and take initiative Dependable, professional, and team-oriented Friendly and outgoing personality is a must! Comfortable working in a fast-paced dental environment Someone who loves setting goals—and crushing them!
