Job Description

You will manage patient scheduling, insurance verification, and medical record coordination while ensuring smooth clinic operations. Duties Greet patients warmly and handle all front desk responsibilities with professionalism and enthusiasm Schedule appointments efficiently using dental practice management software such as Dentrix ascend Verify insurance coverage, benefits, and eligibility Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accurate data entry and documentation review Handle multi-line phone systems with courteous phone etiquette and assist with patient inquiries Maintain accurate medical records, EHR (Electronic Health Records) management, and ensure compliance with HIPAA policies Support billing processes by assisting with medical collection efforts, CPT coding, ICD-9/10 coding, and insurance claims submission Requirements Prior experience in dental settings with strong knowledge of dental terminology and clinical confidentiality policies Knowledge of health insurance procedures including verification, Medicare, Medicaid, and health information management standards Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite; typing speed of at least 10 key digits per minute preferred Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively over the phone and in person Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations Experience with medical billing, medical coding (ICD-10/CPT), documentation review, and office management practices Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a caring team dedicated to delivering exceptional dental care.
