This position serves as our Patient Care Coordinator and is an important part of the patient experience. You will be one of the first people our patients speak with and see, helping them feel welcomed, cared for, and confident throughout their visit. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, communicates well, stays organized in a busy environment, and is comfortable learning technology and healthcare office procedures. Audiology experience is not required. We will provide training. What You'll Do Welcome patients and provide friendly, professional service throughout their visit Answer incoming calls and assist patients with questions and appointment needs Schedule hearing evaluations, consultations, follow-up visits, and other appointments Help maintain an organized and productive provider schedule Make appointment confirmation and reminder calls Assist with patient check-in and check-out Complete new patient registration and accurate data entry Verify insurance eligibility and benefits Collect copays, deductibles, patient balances, and other payments Prepare patient information and documentation for the clinical team Submit superbill information to the billing team and assist with necessary follow-up Maintain accurate patient information and office reporting Assist with office supplies and general front-office organization Protect patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA and practice policies Work closely with our audiologists and team members to create an excellent patient experience What We're Looking ForRequired High school diploma or equivalent At least 1 year of customer service, front desk, administrative, retail, hospitality, or related experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills Friendly and professional phone presence Strong computer and data-entry skills Ability to learn new software and technology Strong organization and time-management skills Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy Dependable, punctual, and professional Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team Preferred, but Not Required Previous medical or healthcare office experience Insurance verification experience EMR or patient-management software experience Google Workspace experience Previous scheduling or patient coordination experience Experience working with older adults or healthcare patients What Makes Someone Successful Here?
