Role:

Rajal J Patel DDS PA is looking for a friendly and organized Dental Office Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our practice in Orange, NJ. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a patient-focused dental team where your communication skills and attention to detail will make a real difference every day.

Responsibilities:

Greet and check in patients in a warm, professional manner Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using dental practice management software Answer incoming phone calls, respond to inquiries, and relay messages to clinical staff Verify dental insurance eligibility and process billing and claims Collect co-pays and patient payments and maintain accurate financial records Maintain and update patient records ensuring HIPAA compliance Coordinate patient flow and communicate with dental staff to minimize wait times

Requirements:

Prior experience as a dental receptionist or in a dental office setting preferred Familiarity with dental practice management software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar) Knowledge of dental insurance verification and billing procedures Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Professional, compassionate, and patient-focused demeanor High school diploma or equivalent required
