Dental Front Desk Receptionist Northeastern Endodontic Specialists Do you enjoy helping people, solving problems, and being the person who keeps everything moving? If you are confident on the phone, comfortable making decisions, highly organized, posses excellent computer skills and thrive in a busy environment, we would love to meet you! This is more than a traditional front-desk position. Our front desk team plays an important role in patient care. You will be communicating with patients by phone, helping them understand what their appointment entails, communicating registration and patient financial responsibility, and making decisions throughout the day to keep patients and the team moving forward. What You'll Do Listen carefully to patients, answer questions, and determine the appropriate next steps Handle scheduling changes, cancellations, emergencies, and unexpected situations calmly and professionally Verify insurance benefits and communicate estimated patient costs clearly and accurately Use multiple computer systems and scheduling software efficiently Communicate with patients and referring dental offices as needed Work independently and confidently make appropriate decisions Recognize when to ask for help and when to take ownership of a situation Multitask and handle frequent interruptions without losing focus or becoming overwhelmed Pivot throughout the day as patient needs, scheduling demands, and office priorities change Work closely with the entire team to provide an exceptional patient experience The Person We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is confident, capable, adaptable, and genuinely enjoys working with people. You will be a great fit if you: Have at least 3 years of experience in a fast-paced office environment ; dental or medical experience is preferred Are an excellent communicator, especially on the telephone Are comfortable answering patient questions and explaining information clearly Are not afraid to make decisions and take initiative Have strong computer skills and learn new technology quickly Can remain calm and professional when things get busy or unexpected situations arise Can handle multiple priorities and frequent interruptions with ease Are flexible and able to quickly shift your focus when the needs of the office change Can work independently while also being an enthusiastic team player Bring a positive attitude and a willingness to help wherever you are needed Why You'll Enjoy Working With Us At Northeastern Endodontic Specialists, we believe a great team makes a great patient experience.
