In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, managing appointment scheduling, patient check-in and check-out, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. Your expertise in medical administrative support, combined with your knowledge of dental terminology and health information management systems, will contribute to delivering high-quality care and efficient office management. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow within a supportive environment dedicated to excellence in dental healthcare. Duties Greet patients warmly and professionally, ensuring a positive first impression. Schedule appointments accurately using dental practice management software Eaglesoft. Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance verification, and handle billing processes including medical collection procedures. Presenting Treatment plans. Assist with patient intake by collecting medical history, updating records, and reviewing documentation for accuracy. Handle multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, directing calls efficiently and professionally. Perform office management tasks such as emails and text through communication platforms. Support clinical staff by coordinating care plans, reviewing documentation, and understanding dental terminology. Monday to Thursday office hours. Off Friday, Saturdays and Sundays. Experience Prior experience in a dental office or dental clinic environment is highly preferred; familiarity with dental terminology and office procedures is essential. Strong knowledge of dental insurance verification Excellent computer skills. Proven ability to provide outstanding customer service while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
