Job description Tricity Pain Associates P.A. is a Texas based, multi-site comprehensive pain management company. We are seeking a full-time CMA Front Desk Medical Assistant for our Fredericksburg Tx location.

Skills Set Preferred:
Excellent interpersonal skills including an enthusiastic attitude and empathy for our patients. A level headed individual with the ability to resolve patient concerns. Strong organizational and attention to detail skills. Team player who can work well within a healthcare multi-disciplinary team. Candidate must be flexible, self-motivated and willing to work in other areas of the operation when required. Assists physician to ensure clinic runs smoothly and on time. Coordinates scheduling of patients tests, ensuring follow-up appointments with physician are scheduled. Documents patient phone calls, prescription refill messages, and obtains physician signature. Ensures patient phone calls are retrieved and returned in a timely manner. An individual who is looking for a long term position and is flexible to cover other sites as needed. Duties include, but not limited to: Check patients in and out. Complete intake forms for existing and new patients. Scan IDs & Insurance cards for New Patients. Collect Copay, Co-insurance & outstanding patient balances. Ensure all patients are communicated with when Providers are delayed. Relay patient messages to the Providers. Assist in excellent patient experience. This individual will assist in the smooth flow of patients from the time they sign in until checking out. Assist in keeping the office a clean and pleasant environment. This will include straightening up the waiting room periodically throughout the day. Keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying provider of patient's arrival; reviewing service delivery compared to schedule; reminding provider of service delays. Comforts patients by anticipating patients' anxieties; answering patients' questions. Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information. Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. May be cross trained to do other Medical Assistant duties.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be a
Certified Medical Assistant Experience:
1-2 years of recent full time medical receptionist experience. (Highly preferred) Pain Management experience a plus Bilingual preferred but not required Competitive pay commensurate with experience. Tricity Pain Associates P.A. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
