Full-time or Part time, ON SITE electronic medical records and receptionist position sought by busy eastern Loudoun County, Va. Veterinary Hospital. Are you a retired nurse with medical background, Senior veterinary technician or clerical staff wanting to cut back or supplement your current income. Our patients are primarily dogs and cats, some pocket pets and birds, but all need similar care to humans, preventative and diagnostic. You must have knowledge of medical conditions similar to human medicine, an interest in "the business of medicine", strong reading, listening, typing skills, and a plus, is that you like people too. Salary range 20-24$/hour, based on experience, benefits available. Responsibilities Greet and assist patients in person and over the phone, scheduling appointments and guiding them through check-in and check-out processes. Manage electronic health records (EHR/EMR), ensure accurate patient information, and maintain strict confidentiality in line with health information regulations. Perform medical office duties including data entry, typing, file management, and basic administrative tasks using Microsoft Office. Coordinate with healthcare providers to support patient flow, appointment reminders, and documentation needs.
