What You'll Do:
Handle phone calls, greet patients, manage logs, and provide translation services Collect patient data and maintain records Schedule appointments, verify insurance, assist with billing, and respond to patient inquiries Maintain cash box and complete other assigned tasks Acting as a liaison between line staff and the direct supervisor. Manages breaks, lunches, sick calls and overtime. Provides insights to leader regarding the skill level and performance of the employees. Responsible for providing training to new employees and existing staff when needed.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) One year's experience as a receptionist in a clinic is preferred Bilingual (English/Spanish) required at a level 9 Ability to prioritize work and handle a variety of tasks simultaneously, with frequent interruptions. Ability to professionally interact with patients, Providers, and staff Ability to deliver outstanding customer service Basic knowledge of medical terminology & healthcare billing insurance is desired Basic proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel Our Mission Statement "Together we transform our communities through compassionate, individualized care, eliminating barriers to health and well-being."
