The purpose of this position is to coordinate and organize appointments and documentation to facilitate the smooth running of the healthcare environment and support delivery of quality client care. We consider this position an integral part of the clients treatment team.

Responsibilities include:

Answering phones, registering and checking clients in/out, scheduling, insurance verification, collecting copays and payments, handle billing issues, maintaining waiting room and office, maintaining client records, safeguard client privacy and confidentiality, and making sure the office runs smoothly. The ideal candidate for this position must possess: Strong organizational and communication skills, general working knowledge of and ability to use computers and office machines, the ability to maintain confidential information, sensitivity, flexibility and maturity, the ability to multitask and work efficiently with minimal supervision, and strong ability to work as a team. A candidate with experience in a medical office and knowledge of medical terminology is preferred but not required. High School diploma required. This is an excellent opportunity for college students pursuing a degree in the mental health related field or individuals with experience working in mental health.
