Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Experienced Dental Front Desk Receptionist to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming environment while managing a wide range of administrative support tasks. Your expertise in dental office operations, dental billing, and Open Dental will be instrumental in delivering exceptional patient service and maintaining smooth office workflows. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently while ensuring accurate documentation review and data entry Support with insurance benefits, process claims, and collecting coinsurance in compliance with HIPAA regulations Handle multi-line phone systems with professionalism, providing clear information and directing calls appropriately Maintain accurate medical records and electronic health records, record phone calls, emails and text messages Work unscheduled patients who need recare and treatment visits scheduled. Light cleaning, vacuuming and garbage removal Requirements Proven experience as a Dental Front Desk Receptionist is preferred Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, health insurance processes, and clinical confidentiality policies Proficiency Open Dental preferred Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel) and typing skills (10 key typing) Ability to follow direction on our systems and processes of patient retention Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively Demonstrated customer service excellence with phone etiquette skills and professional demeanor Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards and dental billing preferred. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation review and filing processes Organizational and task management while remaining on time. Pay:
$18.00 - $30.00 per hour
