Assist healthcare providers with medical documentation, including history-taking, physical exam notes, and treatment plans. Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other clinical confidentiality policies when handling sensitive patient data. Support medical office operations by organizing medical records, scheduling appointments, and managing patient interactions. Maintain thorough documentation of medical records, including progress notes, lab results, and discharge summaries. Collaborate with medical staff to achieve efficient workflows and uphold high standards of medical transcription quality. Experience Prior experience in a medical office setting or as a medical scribe is highly preferred. Strong transcription skills with the ability to accurately convert spoken language into written records. Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy to understand clinical conversations effectively. Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems and EHR management tools. Demonstrated understanding of HIPAA compliance and maintaining patient confidentiality at all times. Excellent typing speed and writing skills to ensure swift documentation during fast-paced clinical encounters. Experience in emergency room settings or with emergency procedures is a plus but not required.
