This energetic position combines clinical duties with medical documentation, ensuring seamless patient visits in a fast-paced environment. You will be the backbone of our outpatient and inpatient services, contributing to improved patient outcomes and operational excellence. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a positive experience for every patient and provider you serve. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations by recording detailed clinical notes in real-time using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. Gather and document patient information, including vital signs, medical history, medication lists, and presenting symptoms with precision. Prepare patients for examinations by taking accurate vital signs, performing basic phlebotomy procedures, and assisting with intake processes. Support physicians with medical procedures such as medication administration, wound care, or other clinical tasks aligned with your training and experience. Manage medical records efficiently by updating documentation, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations, and maintaining accurate medical documentation throughout each visit. Facilitate communication between patients and providers by answering questions, providing instructions, and ensuring clarity of care plans. Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment while adhering to safety protocols, infection control standards, and hospital policies. Support administrative functions such as scheduling appointments, managing EMR/EHR data entry, and processing referrals or lab orders. Experience Prior experience working in obstetrics and gynaecology, hospital medicine, urgent care, or emergency medicine settings is highly desirable. Demonstrated proficiency in medical office management including EHR systems (Electronic Health Records), EMR systems (Electronic Medical Records), and medical documentation practices. Hands-on experience with phlebotomy techniques and medication administration within clinical settings. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and medical terminology to accurately document patient encounters. Inpatient or outpatient experience at Level I or Level II trauma centers is a plus; familiarity with hospital environments enhances your ability to adapt quickly. Strong patient service skills combined with excellent communication abilities ensure compassionate care delivery across diverse populations.
