Veteran Health Network is an independent, veteran-exclusive healthcare coordination and case management platform. We are contracting with licensed primary care providers to conduct in-person medical evaluations for veterans. We do not practice medicine. You do. This is not C&P exam work, and we are not the VA. Veteran Health Network has no affiliation with the Department of Veterans Affairs. You will not be conducting compensation and pension examinations for the government.

You will be practicing medicine:

evaluating, documenting, and where veterans elect it, treating your patients. Most veterans leave service without complete medical records. Conditions go undocumented for years, and the file never reflects the body. Our providers close that gap through thorough in-person evaluations, complete medical documentation written to the standard the VA requires, and where clinical findings support it, medical nexus opinions. Veterans are scheduled to you through our platform. You conduct structured in-person physical health evaluations, typically two visits per veteran, document your findings, and retain full clinical authority over every conclusion you reach. Veterans may also elect ongoing care with you afterward. Compensation is a flat fee per encounter: $200 per initial evaluation and $130 per follow-up visit, cash-pay through the program. No insurance, no billing codes, no collections, no contingency arrangements of any kind. Your independence is contractual. Every clinical decision belongs to you. If your findings do not support an opinion, you do not write one.

Pay:

$130.00 - $200.00 per hour

Professional development assistance Application Question(s): Do you currently operate, work from, or have consistent access to a physical medical practice where Veteran Health Network patients could be seen in person? What city and state is your in-person practice location? If you have more than one location, please list each location where you could see VHN patients. Are you comfortable providing comprehensive primary-care-style care to adult patients, including evaluating new concerns, reviewing medical history, assessing chronic conditions, ordering or recommending appropriate testing or referrals, discussing treatment options, and providing follow-up care when clinically appropriate? This is not a brief one-time evaluation role. VHN patients may need thorough initial visits, ongoing care, and detailed clinical documentation. Are you comfortable providing that level of care and completing documentation within five business days? What connection, if any, do you have to the military or veteran community? This may include being a veteran, military spouse/family member, growing up in a military family, currently treating veterans, VA/C&P experience, or veteran advocacy. Have you previously written or provided a medical nexus opinion for a veteran?
