CEENTA is hiring a Part-Time Medical Scribe accurately documents all aspects of patient encounters in real time. The scribe allows the physician to focus on direct patient care by managing clinical documentation and record keeping throughout the visit and reducing end-of-day charting time and assist in scheduling appointments and procedures.
What you will do:
Schedule appointments, procedures, and surgeries Accompany the physician during all patient encounters. Document clinical assessments, procedures, lab results, and visit summaries accurately and contemporaneously. Schedule appointments, procedures, and surgeries Complete all supplemental information in the EMR system, including current and past medications. Assist with basic office and clinical procedures as directed. A Typical Day A typical day for the Medical Scribe involves collaborating closely with the Provider to deliver efficient, accurate, and compassionate patient care. The Medical Scribe accompanies the Provider into patient encounters and documents the visit in real time within the EHR system. They accurately record the patient's chief complaint, history of present illness (HPI), review of systems, and pertinent past medical, surgical, family, and social histories as communicated by the Provider and patient. In addition to clinical documentation, the Medical Scribe supports clinic workflow by assisting with basic administrative tasks as needed, coordinating communication within the care team, and ensuring patient records are complete and ready for follow-up care. By managing documentation responsibilities, the Medical Scribe allows the Provider to focus fully on patient interaction, clinical decision-making, and high‑quality care delivery throughout the day.
Schedule:
Schedule will be around 24 hours per a week. Work hours will fall Mon-Fri, between 7:30a-5p pending provider's schedule; occasional early or late clinic rotation.
