Full Job Description Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to join our team as a Medical scribe/Assistant for ENT office in Fort Lee, NJ . As a Medical Scribe, you will work closely with healthcare professionals to accurately transcribe and document medical information. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in the medical field to gain valuable experience and contribute to patient care.

Duties:

Assist physician with completing all notes in EMR system
Document all visits and procedures
Record results of any diagnostic imaging studies
Communicating with patients, pharmacies, and physicians over the phone under physician guidance
Comply with legal and ethical requirements for medical documentation. Alert physician when medical record is incomplete or documentation contsains mistakes or inconsistencies
Ensure a clean examination room
Ensure organized and efficient patient flow

Skills:

Proficient in transcribing and documenting medical information in a timely manner
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and systems
Familiarity with medical office procedures and practices
Excellent typing skills with a high level of accuracy
Attention to detail and ability to maintain focus in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare professionals
