Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Medical Scribe to join our healthcare team

The ideal candidate will possess strong medical transcription skills, a solid understanding of medical terminology, and experience working with electronic health records (EHR) systems. As a Medical Scribe, you will support physicians by accurately documenting patient encounters, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations, and maintaining precise medical records to enhance clinical efficiency and patient care quality. Responsibilities Transcribe detailed clinical notes during patient visits in real-time using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) or EHR systems. Assist healthcare providers by documenting patient histories, physical examinations, and treatment plans with accuracy and clarity. Ensure all medical documentation complies with HIPAA privacy and security standards, safeguarding patient confidentiality at all times. Manage electronic health records efficiently, including inputting, updating, and organizing patient data within the system. Support physicians in achieving timely completion of medical documentation to facilitate smooth clinic operations. Maintain thorough knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and clinical procedures relevant to pulmonary and critical care medicine. Uphold clinical confidentiality policies while handling sensitive patient information with professionalism and integrity. Experience Proven experience in medical transcription or as a Medical Scribe within a healthcare setting. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems, Eclinicalworks experience a plus. Strong knowledge of medical office procedures, documentation standards, and clinical confidentiality policies. Excellent typing skills with high accuracy to ensure precise recordkeeping under time constraints. Background in medical office experience or related healthcare roles is preferred. Demonstrated understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to pulmonary medicine.
