Company Overview Fianna Hills Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is a dedicated Skilled Nursing Facility offering 24-hour comprehensive care. We specialize in rehabilitation services, including Rehab-to-Home programs, and pride ourselves on our outstanding therapy department and compassionate caregiving team. Overview We are seeking a Certified Medivation Aide to join our dynamic healthcare team. This energetic role involves providing high-quality patient care within a fast-paced environment, supporting various units including hospital medicine, emergency care, and post-acute settings. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient safety, skilled in medical documentation, and experienced in working with diverse patient populations, including geriatric and acute care patients. Duties Assist nursing staff with patient care activities, including vital signs monitoring and manual handling of patients Support emergency procedures and ensure patient safety during transfers and mobility assistance Operate medical equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining proper infection control protocols Document patient information accurately within electronic health records (EHR) systems Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery Maintain strict patient confidentiality in accordance with healthcare regulations Participate in infection control practices to uphold a safe care environment across all units Experience Prior experience in Level II trauma centers or similar acute care environments preferred Hands-on experience in hospital medicine, emergency medicine, or post-acute care settings Knowledge of medical terminology, CPR certification, and basic life support (BLS) required Experience working with geriatric patients and in medical-surgical units highly desirable Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) management and medical documentation standards Demonstrated ability to handle manual patient transfers using approved methods Strong understanding of infection control practices within inpatient and outpatient facilities Join us to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients! Pay:
$19.00 - $20.75 per hour
