As a Medication Technician, you'll play a vital role in supporting resident wellness by administering medications safely and accurately while working alongside caregivers and the Wellness Director to provide exceptional, person-centered care. Accurately document medication administration and resident observations. Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to the Wellness Director or licensed nurse. Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed. Maintain medication carts, medication records, and supplies in compliance with community standards. Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, pharmacies, and healthcare professionals. Promote resident dignity, independence, and quality of life. Follow infection control procedures, safety protocols, and community policies. Qualifications Previous Medication Technician experience in Assisted Living or Memory Care preferred. Must meet California RCFE requirements to administer medications. Current First Aid and CPR certification preferred. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
