Job Description

NIGHT SHIFT

7pm-7am your schedule would be the following: Week 1:, Wednesday, Thursday 7p-7a Week 2: Friday, Saturday , Sunday 7pm-7am (Then it repeats. Week 3 is the same as week 1 and week 4 is the same as week 2).

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medication Technician to join our healthcare team. As a Medication Technician, you will be responsible for administering medications to patients and ensuring their overall well-being. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals residing in an assisted living facility.

Duties:

Administer medications to patients according to prescribed dosages and schedules
Monitor patients for any adverse reactions or side effects from medications
Document medication administration accurately in medical records and maintain confidentiality
Assist with other healthcare tasks as needed, such as taking vital signs or assisting with medical procedures
Collaborate with healthcare professionals and communicate any changes in patient condition or medication needs
Follow all safety protocols and infection control measures
maintain a clean environment
bathe and assist residents with daily care

Requirements:

cmt licenses up to date
cpr and first aid (we can assist you with getting certified)
Experience working with individuals in an assisted living facility.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow medication administration protocols
Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and basic medical terminology is beneficial Please note that this position requires weekends and evening shifts.
