Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medication Aide to join our team. The Medication Aide will be responsible for assisting residents with medication administration under the supervision of a licensed nurse. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the health and safety of our residents and requires attention to detail, empathy, and professionalism. Must have previous trained medication passing experience with care facility
Responsibilities:
Administer medications to residents according to prescribed schedules and protocols. Maintain accurate records of medication administration and resident health status. Monitor residents for any adverse reactions or side effects to medications and report findings to the nursing staff. Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Communicate effectively with residents, family members, and other members of the care team. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience working in a healthcare or assisted living setting preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards residents and their families. Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Basic computer skills for maintaining electronic health records.

Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
