Join our compassionate healthcare team as a Medication Aide / Caregiver, where your dedication and expertise will make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and individuals with special needs. In this vital role, you will assist residents with daily activities, administer medications safely, and provide personalized care that promotes independence, dignity, and well-being. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will foster a warm, supportive environment where residents feel valued and cared for every day. Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote comfort and independence. Safely administer medications following prescribed protocols, ensuring accuracy in dosage and timing in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to track health status. Document medical information accurately using electronic health record (EHR) systems, maintaining detailed medical records and medication logs. Support residents with specialized needs such as , dementia care, hospice care, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Perform catheter care, and wound care as needed for residents. Maintain a safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols and assisting with emergency responses when necessary. Prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care settings is preferred, but not required. Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and nursing practices related to patient care. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for accurate documentation of medical records and medication administration. Ability to work effectively with people of all ages and backgrounds, especially seniors and individuals with disabilities. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with healthcare teams and provide compassionate support to residents.
