Job Description

Certified Medication Technician Embassy at Morehead City Lead with Purpose. Serve with Heart. Great nutrition is an essential part of exceptional resident care. Embassy at Morehead City is seeking an experienced, organized, and compassionate Certified Medication Technician to join our Assisted Living and Memory Care This leadership role is ideal for someone who enjoys building strong teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, and creating an outstanding dining experience for our residents. What You'll Do Provide compassionate care and support to residents while promoting their dignity, independence, and overall well-being. Administer medications accurately and safely according to physician orders, facility policies, and state regulations. Monitor residents for changes in condition, medication effectiveness, and potential side effects, reporting concerns to the nursing team. Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal care, mobility, meals, and other daily needs as required. Maintain accurate medication records, documentation, and resident care notes. Communicate effectively with residents, families, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality care. Follow all infection control, safety, and medication management procedures. Create a positive, respectful, and supportive environment for residents. Qualifications Previous experience as a Medication Technician, Medication Aide, Resident Care Aide, or in a healthcare setting preferred. Must meet state requirements for medication administration certification, if applicable. Knowledge of medication procedures, documentation standards, and resident care practices. Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to follow established protocols. Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing exceptional resident care.
