$18.00-22.00 per hour Job description: Medication Technician / Weekend Supervisor is responsible for providing medication administration and direct resident care while serving as the primary on-site supervisor during assigned weekend shifts. This position is designed for an experienced, dependable Medication Technician who can independently manage weekend operations, provide leadership to staff, respond appropriately to resident and facility concerns, and ensure compliance with Oasis at Elizabeth policies and applicable Pennsylvania Personal Care Home regulations. The Weekend Supervisor serves as the primary point of contact for staff during the weekend and communicates significant concerns, incidents, staffing issues, resident changes, and operational needs to the Administrator or designated leadership.
Responsibilities:
Administer medications to residents as directed and document properly Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs and IADLs) Communicate changes in resident conditions to supervisors Maintain a clean and safe environment Manage emergencies and make sound decisions with limited on-site administrative supervision Audit and ensure medication cart are remaining in compliance with 2600
Regulations Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required . Up to date Medication Tech Certification/Training and Observations required. Previous Medication Technician experience required . Previous supervisory, lead, or shift-management experience strongly preferred. Experience working with older adults, personal care residents, dementia, or memory-care populations required . Strong medication administration and documentation skills. Strong organizational, communication, and conflict-resolution skills. Must demonstrate dependable attendance and punctuality. Must successfully pass a background checks, and competency requirements.
