Farmersville Health & Rehab is hiring a Certified Medication Aide for our day shift team. In this position, you will administer prescribed medications and complete routine treatments for residents following physician orders. You will also assist nurses and floor staff with resident care needs throughout the morning shift.

Compensation, Schedule & Benefits Pay Rate:

Starting at $19/hr, scaling upward with experience

Schedule:

8-Hour Day Shifts (6am-2pm)

Responsibilities Administer oral, topical, and routine medications in accordance with state regulations. Perform prescribed non-invasive treatments and document medication administration in electronic health records. Monitor residents for changes in condition or side effects and report observations to the charge nurse. Assist nursing assistants on the floor with direct care and resident mobility when medication passes are complete. Maintain clean medication carts and ensure supplies remain organized for the incoming shift. Qualifications & Requirements Active Texas Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification Active Texas Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification Must pass a standard criminal background check Must pass a drug screening Reliable transportation for consistent attendance Ready to Join Our Team?
