Job Description

Certified Medication Aide - PRN Meadowbrook Care Center is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Certified Medication Aide to join our care team on a PRN basis. This role is essential in ensuring the safe and effective administration of medications to residents, as well as supporting high-quality resident care in alignment with each individual service plan. Key Responsibilities Administer prescribed medications to residents and accurately document services provided. Assist with medication refills and maintain medication records in compliance with applicable standards. Maintain resident and family confidentiality at all times. Serve as a liaison between caregivers and nursing staff regarding residents' medication needs. Observe and report any changes in resident condition to the appropriate staff. Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality care aligned with resident service plans. Qualifications Active CNA or equivalent certification required. Active CMA certification First Aid and CPR certification. Completion of state-approved medication aide training/coursework. Minimum of six (6) months of experience in a similar role preferred. Must meet all state licensing requirements. Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to diverse populations. Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, and leadership abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Why Join Us?
