Duties Verifies identity of resident receiving medication and records name of drug, dosage, and time of administration on specified forms or records. Presents medication to resident and observes ingestion or other application or administers medication using specified procedures. Takes vital signs or observes residents to detect response to specified types of medications and prepares report or notifies designated personnel of unexpected reactions. Takes and records temperatures, blood pressure, pulse, respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output as directed. Answers signal lights, bells, or intercom system to determine resident needs. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Must have a current, valid Texas CNA certification in good standing Must have current Texas Medication Aide certification in good standing
