Guardian Angel Homes is seeking compassionate, dependable Medication Technicians (Med Techs)/Caregivers to join our Assisted Living and Memory Care team. If you enjoy providing hands-on care while ensuring residents receive their medications safely and accurately, we'd love to have you on our team. What You'll Do As a Med Tech/Caregiver, you'll provide compassionate personal care while safely administering medications under the direction of licensed nursing staff.
Responsibilities include:
Administering medications and documenting medication administration accurately in accordance with company policies and state regulations Observing residents for medication effectiveness or adverse reactions and promptly reporting concerns to the nurse Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Providing mobility assistance while promoting resident independence and safety Assisting with meals, hydration, and dining support Observing and reporting changes in residents' physical or mental condition Documenting resident care and services provided Responding to resident needs with compassion, patience, and respect Supporting residents with memory care needs when applicable Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment Working collaboratively with nurses, caregivers, and other team members to provide exceptional resident care Qualifications Current CNA, HCA, NAR, or ability to obtain required credentials Current Washington State Medication Technician certification Strong attention to detail and commitment to resident safety Excellent communication and teamwork skills Reliable, dependable, and compassionate Ability to pass a criminal background check Current CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain Why Work at Guardian Angel Homes? $1,000 Sign-On Bonus Competitive pay Supportive team environment Meaningful work that makes a difference every day Paid training and opportunities for career growth Health, dental, vision, and life insurance for eligible employees Paid time off and paid sick leave Stable, established company dedicated to providing exceptional senior care
