Job Description Behavior Interventionist Compensation Hourly Rate:
$21.00 - $27.00 per hour (Based on experience and qualifications)

Montebello, CA Onsite | Full-Time | School-Based Position Summary RCM Health Care Services is seeking compassionate and dedicated Behavior Interventionists to support K-12 students within school districts in the Montebello, CA area for the upcoming school year. This full-time, school-based opportunity provides the ability to make a meaningful impact by supporting students with behavioral, emotional, and developmental needs while collaborating with educators and multidisciplinary teams. Behavior Interventionists play an important role in helping students access learning environments successfully through behavioral support strategies, data collection, and implementation of individualized behavior plans. At RCM Health Care Services, we are committed to helping students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. Responsibilities Schedule / Shift Full-Time and Substitutes Monday-Friday School hours vary based on campus assignment and grade level

Grade Levels Supported:
Kindergarten-12th Grade Key Duties Provide 1:1 or small group behavioral support to students with mild to severe behavioral challenges Implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) under BCBA and school staff supervision Utilize ABA-aligned strategies and de-escalation techniques to support positive student behavior and classroom engagement Document behavioral data, track progress, and communicate observations to behavioral support and IEP teams Assist students with routines, transitions, and behavioral redirection throughout the school day Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, specialists, and families to maintain consistency in behavioral support Maintain a calm, professional approach during challenging behavioral situations Provide assistance with toileting, mobility, and activities of daily living (ADLs) as required by student assignment
Requirements Education Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred:
Relevant college coursework in Education, Psychology, Behavioral Health, or related field Experience Minimum 6 months of experience working with behavioral, emotional, or developmental needs preferred School-based experience strongly preferred Skills Knowledge of ABA principles, behavior intervention strategies, and data collection methods Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to remain calm, patient, and solution-focused under pressure Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary educational teams Strong observational and documentation abilities Additional Requirements Ability to pass background clearance requirements Ability to assist with physical support needs including toileting assistance when required Ability to work in active school environments supporting students across multiple educational settings Benefits
