Our areas of specialization include:
mood disorders, trauma, eating disorders, & addictions of various kinds including sexual compulsivity. We are seeking a talented, dedicated mental health professional, skilled in one or more of these areas, who is licensed or license-eligible in the state of California. The responsibilities of the available position include providing individual therapy, facilitation of group psychotherapy and working as an integral part of a treatment team providing day treatment and intensive outpatient treatment.
An optimal candidate would possess:
Skills in assessment, case conceptualization, treatment planning & delivery. The capacity to build a strong, stable therapeutic alliance with a diverse range of clients. The ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team of professionals. A desire for ongoing learning & skill building.
Qualifications :
Master's in Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field. Associate credential as an AMFT, APCC or ACSW verifiable by the BBS. Experience in clinical therapy, with a focus on mental health, eating disorders, addiction, sexual compulsivity, and trauma. Specialized training or certifications in trauma therapy, eating disorders, addiction treatment, or other relevant areas, with the ability to manage complex clinical cases.
