This full-time opportunity offers meaningful clinical work, provider autonomy and extensive support from an experienced behavioral health team. You will serve adult and geriatric residents while helping improve emotional well-being, behavioral stability and overall quality of life.
Responsibilities include:
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, consultations and follow-up visits Diagnose and manage psychiatric and behavioral health conditions Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans Prescribe, monitor and adjust psychotropic medications Evaluate treatment response, medication effectiveness and side effects Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapists, social workers, residents and families Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning Educate residents, caregivers and staff regarding diagnoses, medications and behavioral interventions Provide compassionate, trauma-informed and resident-centered care Maintain accurate, timely and compliant clinical documentation Benefits Competitive annual compensation of $155,000-$190,000 Full-time weekday schedule No weekend work Predictable daytime hours Paid orientation and training for up to 40 hours Malpractice insurance coverage Medical, dental and vision coverage for eligible employees 401(k) with employer match Paid time off for eligible employees Weekly live continuing medical education Paid access to UpToDate Structured clinical onboarding and ongoing mentorship Comprehensive clinical, administrative and operational support Professional advancement and leadership opportunities
