Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic male RBT to join our team in providing exceptional support and care to individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. In this vital role, you will implement behavioral therapy techniques, assist with daily living activities, and contribute to the development of personalized care plans. Responsibilities Deliver evidence-based behavioral therapy interventions, including applied behavior analysis (ABA), tailored to each individual's needs. Support clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, feeding, and hygiene routines, promoting independence. Collect and analyze data related to behavior management and progress tracking to inform treatment plans. Assist in implementing educational strategies aligned with special education principles to enhance learning outcomes. Maintain accurate medical documentation, care plans, and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and update individualized care plans that reflect clients' evolving needs. Foster positive behavioral health environments by applying behavior management techniques and promoting patient care. Requirements Experience or training in behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), or working with children with developmental disabilities. Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical documentation procedures, and HIPAA compliance. Experience working with adolescents (preferred/required). Must be comfortable supporting a client (age 14) with behavioral challenges, including physical aggression, using appropriate ABA strategies and safety protocols. Ability to work effectively with individuals with autism and other developmental challenges in a compassionate manner. Excellent data collection skills for monitoring progress and adjusting interventions accordingly. Prior experience in special education or behavioral health settings is preferred but not required. Demonstrated patience, empathy, and strong communication skills for working with diverse populations. Ability to follow detailed care plans and adhere to safety protocols while assisting clients with ADLs.
