Job Description

Behavioral Intervention Staff Teo Developmental Services is looking for compassionate, dependable people to work one-on-one with children with developmental disabilities in their homes and community settings throughout Payette County, Idaho. This is a hands-on role focused on helping children build communication, behavioral, social, and daily living skills through consistent support and positive relationships. Staff follow individualized intervention plans developed by the supervising Intervention Specialist. No treatment plan writing or clinical assessments are required. What You'll Do Work directly with children in home and community settings Implement individualized behavioral intervention and skill-building goals Help children build independence, communication, and social skills Collect session data and complete daily documentation Build positive, consistent relationships with children and families Participate in training, supervision, and team meetings Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old Minimum 6 months of experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities preferred Must have a Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, social work, behavioral health, or related field OR currently working toward completion Must pass Idaho IDAPA criminal history and background check requirements CPR and First Aid certification required before independently providing services (we can help guide you through this process) Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance required Must complete required ICDHD online competency modules during onboarding What We Offer Health insurance for full-time employees $20-$25/hour depending on experience and qualifications Full-time and part-time opportunities Ongoing training and supervision Meaningful work that directly impacts children and families in your community
