Key Qualifications:

Previous experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting Strong background working with elementary-aged students with disabilities Familiarity with feeding and toileting assistance required Patient and empathetic communication style Preference for candidates who identify as female, to best meet the student's needs Ability to follow individualized education and behavior plans Comfortable working 32.5 hours per week during the school year

Responsibilities:

Provide attentive, tailored support to an assigned student throughout the school day Assist with feeding and toileting routines to support the student's independence and dignity Collaborate closely with special education teachers and related service providers Maintain accurate documentation of daily activities and student progress Encourage socialization, engagement in class activities, and positive behavior Support the implementation of learning activities and modifications as outlined in the student's plan Foster a safe, respectful, and supportive environment at all times This contract position places you in a meaningful role where your expertise will help shape a child's school experience.
