Part-time, Full-time Position Summary:

The Direct Service Worker (DSW) provides compassionate, hands-on support to youth and adolescents between the ages of 5-20 who have mental or behavioral health challenges. The DSW is responsible for implementing individualized service plans, maintaining accurate documentation, and promoting clients' emotional, social, and behavioral growth in a safe and supportive environment.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide direct care and supportive services to clients as outlined in each client's Individual Service Plan (ISP). Assist clients in developing daily living skills, positive social behaviors, and emotional regulation techniques. Monitor, document, and promptly report any changes in client behavior, condition, or progress to the Administrator or supervisor. Maintain accurate and timely service documentation according to agency policies and state guidelines. Ensure client safety and well-being during all service interactions. Report any signs of abuse, neglect, or exploitation immediately to the proper authorities and the Administrator. Encourage and model positive behavior, communication, and coping strategies. Participate in team meetings, training, and supervision as required. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Administrator or supervisory staff.
