Job Description:
The Education Assistant•RBT provides direct educational and behavioral support to students with intellectual and developmental disabilities under the direction of the Classroom Teacher and guidance of the BCBA. This position supports student learning, behavior, daily living skills, and individualized goals while helping maintain a safe and positive learning environment.

Lower Shore School Calendar Essential Duties:
Provide 1:1 and group support to students based on individualized educational and behavioral plans. Implement behavior intervention plans and instructional strategies under the direction of the Teacher and BCBA. Collect and maintain accurate behavioral and student progress data. Support IEP goals, communication systems, sensory strategies, and daily living skills. Assist students with personal care needs, including toileting, hygiene, lifting, and transitions. Supervise and support students in classrooms, community settings, and other school activities. Communicate student progress and needs with the Teacher, BCBA, and educational team. Maintain a safe, organized, and positive learning environment. Attend required trainings and maintain applicable certifications. Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree or ParaPro preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience working with youth with developmental disabilities required. RBT certification required or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire. Must be at least 21 years old. Must pass required drug screening, criminal background checks, and CPS clearance. Must successfully complete and maintain required trainings and certifications. Must be able to perform required physical and behavioral interventions and lift or push up to 30 pounds. Must support and demonstrate commitment to Benedictine's mission and values.

Pay:
$22.00•$28.00 per hour
