Activity Aide Resident Engagement and Safety We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and attentive Activity Aide to supervise resident smoking times while providing friendly interaction and promoting a safe, positive environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with seniors and values resident safety and dignity. Responsibilities Supervise designated resident smoking times in accordance with facility policies and safety procedures. Ensure residents follow established smoking guidelines. Provide companionship and positive social interaction during scheduled smoking breaks. Observe residents for safety concerns and report changes in condition or behavior to nursing staff. Assist with transporting residents to and from designated smoking areas when appropriate. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe smoking area. Communicate professionally with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members. Support the Activities and Nursing Departments as needed. Qualifications Compassionate, patient, and dependable. Excellent observation and communication skills. Ability to follow safety procedures and facility policies. Experience working with seniors or in healthcare is preferred but not required. Ability to work outdoors during scheduled resident smoking times. Why Choose Complete Care?
