Maintain a safe, clean, and structured living environment. Monitor resident activities and ensure compliance with facility rules, schedules, and treatment expectations. Conduct routine room inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and adherence to program standards. Complete regular facility rounds and document observations. Monitor resident sign-in/sign-out procedures and visitor activity. Observe residents for behavioral changes, medical concerns, or signs of relapse and immediately report concerns to the appropriate supervisor. Assist with resident admissions, orientations, room assignments, and discharges. Conduct resident and visitor searches in accordance with agency policies. Monitor medication line as directed by nursing staff (without administering medications unless appropriately certified). Perform and document random and scheduled drug screenings and breathalyzer tests, as assigned. Transport residents to appointments, meetings, court appearances, or other approved activities when required. Respond appropriately to emergencies, behavioral crises, and medical incidents following agency procedures. Complete incident reports, shift reports, and other required documentation accurately and timely. Assist residents with daily living activities while encouraging personal responsibility and independence. Encourage resident participation in treatment, recovery activities, house meetings, and recreational programming. Enforce agency policies, resident handbook guidelines, and safety procedures in a respectful and consistent manner. Collaborate with counselors, case managers, nurses, and other staff regarding resident progress and concerns. Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 regulations. Attend required staff meetings, trainings, and in-service education.
