Southwest Ohio Council of Governments An Equal Opportunity Employer Behavior Interventionist & Paraprofessional Position Openings Warren County Educational Service Center (WCESC)/Southwest Ohio COG Mason, OH | Full-Time | School-Year Schedule Warren County ESC/Southwest Ohio COG is hiring Behavior Interventionists and Paraprofessionals to support students with autism, social-emotional needs, and behavioral challenges in specialized classroom programs located in Mason, Ohio . These positions follow a school-year schedule (8 hours/day, Monday-Friday) with holidays and summers off .
Pay Behavior Interventionist:
$25-$37/hour (based on experience & qualifications)
Paraprofessional:
$16.88 - $27/hour (based on experience & qualifications) Responsibilities Support students with behavioral, social-emotional, and academic needs Implement behavior intervention strategies Provide individual and small-group support Assist with classroom management and student engagement Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary staff Program Overview Staff work within WCESC's specialized programs, including the Social Communications Classroom , which support students with autism and other low-incidence disabilities in an inclusive learning environment. Wellness Program is a school based day treatment program that provides intensive non-residential programming for students in grades K-12 with social-emotional learning needs, behavioral challenges and in need of therapeutic support. Learning Center Program supports students with unique social-emotional and behavioral needs—students who may be navigating educational gaps, mental health challenges, or skill deficits. Programs combine therapeutic supports and academic instruction to help students develop self-regulation, coping skills, and positive behaviors.
