Duties may include but are not limited to: Providing direct support to students with special needs; Collaborating with special education teachers and other staff; Assisting in the development and implementation of behavior intervention plans; supporting the scheduling and facilitation of IEP meetings; Monitoring and documenting student progress Assist in the development, implementation, and oversight of individualized education programs to ensure appropriate education for students. Support the use of resources and technology to promote critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving. Knowledge of special education practices and willingness to learn and apply new strategies. Proficient in the use of multi-media and computer technology to support learning.
