The Beaver Valley Intermediate Unit (BVIU) serves as the administrative hub for a network of educational services designed to support the school districts within Beaver County, Pennsylvania. The BVIU plays a vital role in providing innovative educational resources and services that enhance student learning and achievement. The BVIU is seeking candidates to fill the Assistant Supervisor of IBHS/Behavior Services position. The Assistant Supervisor of IBHS/Behavior Services supports the oversight, coordination, and administration of behavior services and Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) programs. This position assists in ensuring high-quality service delivery, regulatory compliance, effective RBT supervision, and program development in alignment with organizational goals, state regulations, and BACB standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

Master's Degree in Behavior Analysis, Special Education, or a related field, required Active Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential, required Active Pennsylvania Behavior Specialist License, required Supervisor of Special Education certificate, preferred Experience supervising Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), preferred Experience implementing behavior analytic applications in school settings, preferred Experience with IBHS service delivery and administration, preferred Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and community partners Valid Driver's License required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Assistant Supervisor will: Assist in the oversight and supervision of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) within the Behavior Services Department to ensure compliance with BACB regulations and ethical standards. Oversee and approve the schedules for RBTs and behavior analysts to ensure appropriate staffing and fulfillment of contractual obligations. Assist in the development, implementation, and oversight of service contracts with Districts and partner agencies. Support administrative oversight of IBHS programs, including: Quality management auditsClient intake processesAuthorization and reauthorization proceduresCompliance with state regulations and Managed Care Organization (MCO) requirementsAudit preparationCredentialing processesClinical supervision requirementsAccreditation standards Assist in program development and continuous improvement efforts for both IBHS and Behavior Services programs, including program expansion and service delivery enhancements. Collaborate with staff, families, schools, agencies, and community partners to support effective and compliant service delivery. Assist in the administrative and clinical supervision of all IBHS employees, including but not limited to Behavior Health Technicians, Behavior Consultants and RBTs. Provide clinical supervision for the Clinical Director. Assist with the oversight and development of budgets for IBHS and Behavior Services. Maintain accurate documentation, records, and reports in accordance with organizational, state, and regulatory requirements. Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor of Behavior Services, Director of Special Education, or Executive Director.

Pay:

$70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
