Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Care professional to join our team in providing high-quality behavioral support and therapy services. In this role, you will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders, to implement personalized care plans. Your energetic approach will help foster positive behavior change, enhance daily living skills, and promote independence. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients' lives while developing your expertise in behavioral health and special education. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, and hygiene routines, to promote independence. Collect and analyze behavioral data to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments. Implement ABA therapy protocols designed by licensed behavior analysts to support clients' developmental goals. Conduct direct behavioral therapy sessions in home-based or community settings, ensuring client safety and engagement. Maintain accurate medical documentation, care plans, and behavioral records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Communicate effectively with clients' families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive care delivery. Support clients with neurodevelopmental disorders by applying behavior management strategies tailored to individual needs. Qualifications Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities, especially those on the autism spectrum or with neurodevelopmental disorders. Behavioral problems experienced. Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and experience implementing ABA therapy protocols. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards. Background in special education or behavioral health services is highly preferred. Strong skills in data collection, documentation, and client communication are essential for success. Home-based behavioral experience or school experience working with individuals with disabilities is advantageous. Ability to follow detailed care plans while maintaining professional and ethical standards consistent with the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts. $100.00 - $130.00 per day
